Dokken Ducks Could Mean Bonus BucksPosted on March 29, 2005 by SuperRetrieverSeries.com Staff ![]() Tom Dokken is giving Big Air Dog competitors even more to chew on at the upcoming Mack's Super Retriever Series event at Great Country Farms in Loudoun County, Virginia, April 7-9. Dokken, maker of the famous Dokken Deadfowl Trainer, a faux duck used to train retrievers, is offering $750 to the top big air teams if they use a DFT to win the Ducks Unlimited Big Air Dog Competition. Amateur competitors who throw a DFT and win their division will earn a $250 bonus, while the pro winner will take home an extra $500 if they utilize a Dokken and take first place. The amateur division begins qualifying competition on Thursday, April 7 at 3 p.m. with a second round of qualifying Friday at noon. The Amateur finals take place Friday at 4 p.m. with the top 2 amateurs earning a spot in the pro division. Professional qualifying will begin Saturday morning at 7 a.m. with the finale starting at 12:30 p.m. that same day. Competitors in both divisions can register at SuperRetrieverSeries.com The Mack's Super Retriever Series event will also feature some of the world's best retrieving dogs as they complete a series of timed trials. So grab the family, friends, and dog for a fun-filled weekend of competition and entertainment. All Mack's Super Retriever Series events are televised on ESPN2 beginning Sunday, April 2 at 7 a.m and again at 9:30 a.m. EST. |
