Whatever the title, the Super Retriever Series presented by Natural Life already promises an incredible year. Buoyed by the fact that Chris Akin of Jonesboro, Ark. took his Super Retriever Series title and turned it into a gold medal at the ESPN Great Outdoor Games dogs and handlers are coming out of the woodwork to compete this season. Already, the fields for the first Super Retriever Series presented by Natural Life are filling up. As a matter of fact, the second event scheduled for Dec. 4-6, 2003 in New Orleans has a full field of retriever/handler teams. SRS will be starting a waiting list for Retriever Trials incase a team drops out. "Thankfully, there is still room for teams to compete in our other two events," said Shannon Nardi, producer of the Super Retriever Series. That event schedule for the Super Retriever Series is: Retrievers entering the Retriever Trial must have one of the following advanced titles to be eligible to compete in the ESPN Super Retriever Series. The retriever must have attained MHR status or above, HRCH or above, QAA or above, or MH or above. If you retriever has not attained any of these titles but you feel like he can compete on this level, please E-mail Justin Tackett at justintackett@superretrieverseries.com. Entry fee is $100.00 The Big Air Event is an Open Competition. Entry Fee is $25.00 You can pre-register for the Retriever Trials by completing and returning the registration form on this site with payment by the following dates Goldvein, VA October 31,2003; New Orleans November 28, 2003; Stuttgart, AR March 25, 2004. Pre-registrations for Big Air will be accepted through the online application at DockDog.com until the day before each event. |
