SRS Event Types

The Super Retriever Series is changing and can bring many different types of events to your venue.

SRS Classics
These are the "BIG" events that everyone associates with an SRS event. It's a hybrid of field trials and hunt tests with some good old-fashioned hunting savvy tests thrown in along the way. Classic Events also bring the Super Dock events to each venue.

Amateur Classics
These events are identical to the SRS Classic events except that the retriever trial portion is limited to amateur trainers only.

SRS Club Events
These are the grassroots form of the SRS. Local clubs can sanction their own SRS-style events with an SRS certified field marshall and scorekeeper.

SRS Crown Championship
This is the Super Bowl of the SRS season. To be eligible, a dog and handler team must have finished in the top 3 at a Classic event or the previous Crown Championship, won the Avery Sporting Dog Cup, or qualified through an SRS Club event.

Super Dock
Super Dock events show off the high-flying skills of our dogs as they take to the air in either Super Fly or Super V. These events can be held in conjunction with an SRS Classic event or can be a standalone event.

Pro Super Dock
These are the same as Super Dock events, however due to time restraints, we cannot accommodate amateurs in these events.
