Super Retriever Series Club Rules

New for 2011
• SRS Club events will receive 1 Crown Championship entry for each 20 dogs per division.
• Club events have the option to use real ducks or cock pheasants at their discretion. There will be no mixing of ATB's and real birds in an event.

An SRS Club event can be held by a club or group. This club or group will decided the type of event it wishes to hold, ie owner/handler, Pro/AM, etc.etc.

The first event will be viewed as a SRS preliminary event and must be attended by an SRS approved marshal.

SRS will supply a marshal and scorekeeper at $100.00 a day for each. This will consists of 3 days for a marshal for 2 day event, 2 days for scorekeeper for 2 days event. If event lasts or is scheduled for more than 2 days fee for marshal and scorekeeper will adjust accordingly.

SRS will supply scoring system for $100.00 a day for 2 days. If event lasts or is scheduled for more than 2 days fee for scoring system will adjust accordingly.

All expenses are supplied by the club for marshal/scorekeeper and the scoring system. This will include travel to and from SRS Club event location, lodging and food expenses. (Travel scheduled early is a saving factor.)

Team Entry Fees for a SRS Club Event will be anywhere from $125.00 to $225.00 based on the Club decision. This event will consist of 4 series.

SRS Club event will have an open dog entry based on the decision of the Club and approval of the SRS rules committee.

SRS Club event will hold a limit of 50 dogs unless club feels that can handle more and still keep the integrity of the SRS Club event rules.

Winner of an SRS Club event will get bid to the SRS Crown Championship.

SRS Club entries will hold entries online at www.SuperRetrieverSeries.com/registration. Event entry will be closed 1 week prior to the scheduled event. DNT Media will supply a computer generated running order with influence to the club for printing. (with Influence: handlers with multiple dogs will be dispersed evenly through all series.)

SRS Club Event Dollars
50 % payback to the Club (unless the club wishes to put a percentage into the Competitor payout.)
40 % payback to the Competitors teams (minimum payback to top 3, maximum payback to top 12)
10 % payback to SRS Crown Championship pot.

SRS Club events will use Avery Sporting Dog ATB's (Avery True Birds) and EZB's (EZ Birds)

SRS Club event official announcement must be made on the SRS website 60 days prior to the event and must be approved by the SRS running rules committee in writing prior to announcement.

SRS Club events will not take place during the following events.
  • HRC GRAND
  • AKC Master National
  • AKC National Open / AKC National Am
