Crown Championship Rules

To qualify for the Crown, a retriever or super dock team must finish in the Top 3 at one of the SRS Qualifying events during the year. Handlers are not allowed to replace an injured or otherwise unavailable dog in the Crown Championship. If one of the top 3 teams at an event has already qualified for the Crown Championship, the next highest placing dog in the Pro Division that has not qualified will receive an invitation to the SRS Crown Championship.

Additionally, the top three teams from each event from the previous year's Crown Championship will be invited to participate. One final slot is awarded in the retrievers trials to the Avery Sporting Dog™ Cup Champion.

All rules from the current year apply to the Crown Championship.

Crown Championship will have a $225.00 entry fee for the Retriever Trials. 100% will go back towards the payout and combined with the SRS qualifying dollar pool. SRS Crown Championship pool will payout 1st through 4th Place. (Final Four) Avery Sporting Dog Team of the year will take 10% of the SRS Crown Championship pool.
