Crown Championship Rules

To qualify for the Crown, a team must finish in the Top 3 at one of the SRS Qualifying events during the year. In the event a team qualifies more than once, that position is lost an additional invitation will not be extended unless the total number of entries in any Crown event is less than 12. Handlers are not allowed to replace an injured or otherwise unavailable dog in the Crown Championship.

Additionally, the top three teams from each event from the previous year's Crown Championship will be invited to participate. One final slot is awarded in the retrievers trials to the Avery Sporting Dog™ Cup Champion.

All rules from the current year apply to the Crown Championship.
